30 Degree Rule

In the Film Editing guide, The camera should move at least 30 degrees relative to the subject between successive shots of the same subject.

In the Cinematography Guide, shooting in 2 cameras or 2 angles of the same subject in a scene then each camera to be 30 degrees apart from the subject, and when using one camera with 2 angles, then the camera angle difference between 2 frames to be differed by 30 degrees (Eg. closeup, MId, wide angle)

If the camera moves less than 30 degrees, the transition between shots may look like a jump cut.
